In an undamaged clove, alliin and allinase remain completely separate, but once its structure is ruptured – typically by cutting – the two substances come into contact and form allicin. This is the garlic's defence mechanism against an attack from the soil-borne organisms. The exceptional capacity of allicin to kill unwanted organisms is unique in a herbal compound. Allicin is able to react with micro-organisms and penetrate their cell walls. At low concentrations of allicin, the degree of interference may not be lethal, but sufficient to block the microbe’s virulence. At slightly higher concentrations, the effect can prove lethal for the micro-organism. However allicin remains active only for a short period before degrading.
How Does Allimax Differ From Other Garlic Supplements?
No other garlic supplements contain ANY allicin. They rely on your body being able to generate allicin once you have swallowed the tablet or capsule. Garlic oil supplements are produced by distilling fresh garlic, the oil that is produced is then diluted and placed into a capsule. This destroys most, if not all of the available allicin. A few garlic powder supplements can generate some allicin but this depends on the prevailing stomach conditions and may take several hours to accomplish conversion to allicin. All Allimax is made from from clean and sustainable Spanish grown garlic.

This garlic is then, in a carefully temperature/pressure controlled process, continually flushed with water to create allicin which is distilled from the reaction vessel as soon as its formed. This yields a dilute water solution of allicin.
